그렇게 A 씨는 판매자가 알려준 '가상계좌 링크'로 들어가 40만 원을 송금했습니다. 하지만 이때부터 판매자의 답장 속도가 느려지더니, 연락이 아예 끊겼습니다.
'안전'한 줄만 알았던 거래, 사실 '중고거래 사기'였던 겁니다.
■ 베테랑도 당한 '안전결제' 중고 사기
지금껏 100회가 넘는 중고거래를 한 '베테랑' B 씨도 최근 '안전 결제'를 유도한 '중고 사기'에 당했습니다.
'안전결제'란 말을 철석같이 믿은 B 씨는 판매자가 전달한 가상 계좌로 가방 구매 대금 155만 원을 입금했습니다.

■ "같은 계좌에 당한 피해자만 42명"
안전결제를 유도한 중고사기에 당한 피해자는 한 둘이 아닙니다.
지난해 12월 55만 원짜리 오븐을 구매하려다 580만 원을 뜯긴 C 씨. 신고를 위해 찾은 경찰서에서 기막힌 얘기를 들었습니다. 자신과 같은 계좌로 입금한 피해자가 무려 42명이나 된다는 겁니다.

협회 일부 핵심 임원들은 불법 성매매업소와 연결돼 있는데, 한 임원의 경력을 확인해보니 5년 새 8번이나 자리를 바꿨습니다.
